ACTION DODGEBALL
Dodgeball at Action Sports Centurion is an intense team game where players dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge some more to avoid being hit by balls thrown by the opposing team. Matches typically last around 45 minutes to an hour, filled with high-energy action and strategic gameplay.
Basic Rules
- Dodgeball is played with two teams, each trying to eliminate players from the opposing team by hitting them with balls or catching their throws.
- Players are out if they are hit by a thrown ball and it doesn’t bounce off another player or object before hitting the ground, or if they throw a ball that is caught by an opponent.
- If a player catches a ball thrown by the opposing team, the thrower is out, and a player from the catching team may re-enter the game.
- The game is played in rounds, and the team with the last player standing wins the round. Matches typically consist of multiple rounds.
Match Time Rules
- Matches are typically timed, lasting around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the league or tournament rules.
- Each round has a time limit, usually around 3 to 5 minutes, after which the team with the most players remaining wins the round.
- If time expires before one team is entirely eliminated, the team with the most players left wins the round.
- In tournament play, there may be multiple rounds or matches within the allotted time frame, with teams accumulating points based on their performance in each round or match.
